Ghost released their second album Infestissumam on April 16th, 2013 via Spinefarm Records/Loma Vista Recordings. The 10-song offering was produced by Grammy® Award-winning producer, Nick Raskulinecz (Foo Fighters, Queens of the Stone Age, Alice in Chains) in Nashville, TN, and debuted at #1 on the iTunes Rock Album Chart. SPIN called the album, “one of the most anticipated heavy metal albums of 2013”, and Pitchfork praised its “addictive as sin” hooks. Rolling Stone described their sound as “somewhere between Mastodon and Metallica, with a heavy dose of Swedish synth mixed in”.

In November of 2013, the band released If You Have Ghost, a five-track EP recorded and produced by Dave Grohl, including cover versions of songs by Roky Erickson, ABBA, Army of Lovers and Depeche Mode. Ghost have toured the U.S. extensively and appeared at various music festivals across the country, including Coachella, Lollapalooza and Rock on the Range.

In 2015 the band released their 3rd full-length album, entitled Meliora which is Latin for the pursuit of something better. Produced by Klas Frans Åhlund (Eagle-Eye Cherry, Katy Perry, Madonna), the album was released to strong commercial and critical success, being voted as the Best Metal Album of 2015 in the fifth annual Loudwire Music Awards. In November it was certified Gold and track Circle was nominated for the Grammy Award for Best Metal Performance.

Following their headline performances on The Pit Stage at this year’s Reading & Leeds Festivals, Ghost have confirmed the UK leg of their upcoming headline European tour; this will be the first time the band has headlined shows in the UK under their own name alone, so those attending must prepare themselves for the full Ghost experience. Support comes form Swedish band Dead Soul. They’re heading to the Manchester Ritz on the 19th December and you can buy tickets here.
