Lancaster 5
York took the spoils from both the Mens and Mixed Ultimate Frisbee fixtures.
Lancaster looked ready to take both games by taking early leads in the opening moments; however a strong defence and merciless attack eventually took York to two consecutive 6-5 wins. Although disappointing for the Lancaster teams, the score reflects the ferocity that Lancaster played with, often chasing down York with an ever improving attack, gaining points in quick succession and forcing mistakes from the York team.
Special mention should go to both Reece Richard Stanton and David Nelson, whose attack brought the teams back from the brink.
