I hear Professor Paul Wellings is to resign his role as Vice Chancellor at Lancaster and head to pastures new at the end of 2011. Congratulations to him, for being appointed as Vice Chancellor at University of Wollongong, New South Wales.
Let’s hope he takes his radical thinking and positive contributions down under with him, after he gave so much to Lancaster in his time here, higher tuition fees and flatpack buildings from Ikea, to name but two.
